VzBoT open-source 3D printer
Design contributor to VzBoT, an open-source all-wheel-drive CoreXY 3D printer, since its early days. My homing system and toolhead assemblies ship in the official kit.
VzBoT is an open-source 3D printer built around an all-wheel-drive CoreXY motion system. I joined the project in its early stages, around 2021, and I’m still involved.
What I designed
My homing system and toolhead assemblies are part of the official VzBoT release and ship in the kit, so every printer built from the current design uses them.
I’ve also been paid for contract design work on the project.
Community
Beyond the hardware, I moderate the VzBoT community and ran the official printer serialization program, which assigned serial numbers to completed builds.
